Summer sunsets just hit different. I took these while working on my latest video, in which I attempt to problem solve harsh summer light. New video is live on YouTube. Or you can join me on Patreon to watch the ad-free video and more. Links are in the bio. #landscapephotography #nature #sunset

A close up of the setting sun surrounding by a few clouds as it turns the sky to an orange red hue above the Gloucestershire hills.

A panoramic image of the Gloucestershire hills from Painswick Beacon under a fiery sky as the sun sets on the horizon.

I think I managed to recreate the scene from LOTR when Gandalf the White returns… in real life… 🤯

That's insane! I saw the image before reading the caption and immediately had LOTR music in my head😂. Such a great image.

Sunset for the Forgotten The striking sunset over the Bristol Channel, against the haunting silhouette of the shipwreck, makes you realise just how beautiful and violent nature can be at times. Available from my print store www.fredvanleeuwen.co.uk/store/p/wrec... #landscapephotography #fineart

It's strange to look back at past projects and reflect on change. One thing that has stayed constant is my love for this area. Filmed during the pandemic in South Africa, where my love for landscape photography became my main focus. youtu.be/waQ006lbofA #bettysbay #nature #photography

Really excited to share this panorama. It was one of those days you plan for weeks in advance, unsure how the weather would turn out. When I finally arrived at the location of the SS Nornen, everything fell into place. Watch the video - youtu.be/js5NxIaQV-Q #landscapephotography #seascape #shipwreck

I needed a change of scenery from the usual woodlands and sought out some compositions in the Cotswolds countryside instead. The scene’s simplicity is a welcome change from the usual chaotic woodlands. #landscapephotography #countryside #cotswolds #trees

Two years with the Canon R5 C. It’s not the best cinema camera. It’s not the best stills camera. But it might be the only camera that can truly do both! Here is my long-term review on why I chose it (and the flaws I’ve learned to live with): www.youtube.com/watch?v=P6B8... #photography

Winter Sunsets In The Woodland. My 16-35mm lens has been neglected for some time, as I've mainly favoured using telephoto lenses in wooded areas. It was the perfect opportunity to explore some creative photography experiments. #landscapephotography #woodlands #cotswolds #nature #sunset

It's been tough to shoot woodland landscapes lately because of the barren trees and gray scenery. But these mushrooms were a welcome sight! www.fredvanleeuwen.co.uk #landscapephotography #woodlands #forest #winter #mushrooms #fungi #nature
