The rush to recomp old games (Using Ai) reminds me of the people who purchase those emu handhelds and never getting past the title screen. It's just gimme-now mentality, no thought/love involved. It's not even about ethics anymore. No one is stopping to ask "Do we need this" and the answer is No.

Okay I do NOT like where Halo is going under Activision. I never liked Halo Studios (no, not the 343i from 2007-2017) for their "nostalgia first" approach, but at least they weren't so hellbent on cracking down on fanmade content or fan communities.

Additional bonus: the Bungie Halo trilogy, but especially Halo 3. For all the endless praise that game gets, it really falls apart on pretty much every front, from storytelling to level design, and don't even get me started on the multiplayer and how it locked MP PLAYLISTS behind map pack PAYWALLS.

The Yakuza/Like a Dragon franchise. I tried playing Yakuza 0 and then Yakuza: Like a Dragon, and I tried really hard to get into the franchise, but ultimately I lost interest. It just didn't click for me. Honorable mentions: Gears of War: Reloaded and GTA V
