Bad news. Molly had a lovely day until @ 7.00pm when we heard a loud catty squalling. Ran out, she was being attacked by a b&w cat down the side passage. Got her in straight away but tho' she calmed down & seemed ok, she was limping & weeping from one eye & now she's retired to under a bed 🐈☹️

Cheese is generally not great for cats in any sizeable quantity. Cats do not know this & Molly particularly can smell within seconds when a decent cheese (e.g. Sparkenhoe Red Leicester) has entered the room. She gets the tiniest morsel & that seems to keep her happy enough.

Molly the Ginger Cat immediately aware that good cheese is nearby.

Great performance from West Ham tonight. Amongst many good things to note, there were 6 different scorers (probably not a unique statistic), but they were an Englishman, a Dutchman, a Greek, an Argentinian, a Frenchman & an Israeli. Now that surely has to be a first for anywhere in world football?
