This was so much harder than I thought it would be. How do you pick 9 games that have shaped your life? Is that the criteria? Or are they 9 games that mean the most to you? Or 9 desert island games? I decided 9 games that shaped me. Each and every one has added an element to my life.

A collage of 9 games in a 3 x 3 grid. The games moving from left to right are StarCraft, Final Fantasy VIII, Celeste, Tunic, Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link, Majora's Mask, Gris, Metal Gear Solid, and Ace Combat 4

Found some purple flowers and immediately knew @craniatology.bsky.social needed to see them.

Some purple flowers growing in a median alongside bushes. I have no clue what kind they are, plants are not my strong suit.

More purple flowers. In a different median, and the flowers are different too. I feel like I should know these...

So, I rarely ever post. I didnt think it would get here so quick! IM SO EXCITED Not pictured is the inside of the hoodie, which also has stars. I was hoping it would get here during this little cold spell, you know I'm going to wear it no matter how warm it is. @minodev.bsky.social Thank you!

I've had my eye on these for...about 6 months. Can't wait to get them.

Rice maker. Garlic powder, onion powder, dried minced onions, turmeric, salt, chicken bouillon. Washed rice, let it run. After the timer goes off, you add blackened broccoli and scrambled eggs. You can also add frozen dumplings. I made a lemon cake in it about 3 weeks ago. Rice makers are peak tech

Gilgamesh would like to know your location.

Went for a short little hike yesterday and found these. Immediately had to snap a pic for @craniatology.bsky.social

Several purple flowers amid grass growing through a crack in some natural stone.

Okay. So...Elphelt and FFXIV have exclusively dominated my year. Yeah no that checks out. 39.6 consecutive days of music.

A little while ago, I got @barghestblack.bsky.social some ink, and she was kind enough to draw me an incredibly beautiful kitsune using that color. I saw a sneak preview a few months ago, as well as her drawing it. It arrived this week, and it's even more incredible. Thank you again Barg! 💚

A leaping blue kitsune with 9 tails fanned out behind it on cream card stock. There are stars in the tails and fur, and the gradient goes from a deep blue to a paler sky blue.

A picture of my desk, with the kitsune drawing hung among other art.

When you crave roasted chicken on a snowy day. Brined chicken, slow roasted in the oven and then seared. Garlic sour cream mashed potatoes and a brown butter roux gravy made with white wine and pan drippings.

Oven roasted chicken and mashed potatoes, arranged on a green plate on a butcher block counter top.

Set up my upright monitor tonight to scroll through all of my pics of Elphelt using a third party app. I have never been happier with such a simple, basic customization thing. Now she matches my very goofy custom Elphelt mouse pointer.

Why not? I'm only unreasonably obsessed with the game. : )

Using and image, show a movie you are sure you have watched more than 10 times.

A photo from the movie A Silent Voice. The photo is of the main character, Shoko Nishimiya, holding an old notebook that has gotten wet and been dried over her face, exposong only her eyes.
