I miss my therapist. I miss my home, my childhood dog, my self-esteem, the idea that I could be someone worth loving. I miss feeling like I was on a track to somewhere, even when the destination I was promised would have killed me. I miss feeling safe. I miss having hope for no reason at all.

I spend a lot of time hating my past self, and today I happened upon some messages from 6 years ago, and it killed me inside, because I saw someone in those messages who was someone lovable and kind, and unafraid to be herself. I don’t know where I went wrong. I just can’t stand myself anymore.
