We have had our dog for 10 years and have spent just shy of $70,000 on him in that time. This includes vets, boarding / sitting / walking, grooming, food, treats and everything. Love the guy and wouldn’t trade a minute away for a million dollars. But dang.

One of the best things about being an adult is the ability to invest in things that bring you joy. One of my all time fav bands, The Gathering, is doing a one-off set of shows with their classic line-up in their hometown of Nijmegen, Netherlands and I didn't even think twice to buy flights + tix.

Ah, the good old enshittification of everything in practice. These tactics are used because (local maximum) they work. Just like the crazy modals on websites "worked" to drive more clicks. But they also made the internet unbearable. Because of these tactics, the outbound SMB is a dead channel.
