Out of curiosity I ran one of my texts (which is already available online) in Pangram, the AI detector thing. It thinks it's 75% likely to be AI. I obv didn't use any AI whatsoever in writing it. So yeah, miss me with "we are SO reliable in detecting AI".

Just finished Dead First by Johnny Compton and damn that book hit me hard. Love how he weaves together more mundane horrors with supernatural, and this gave me exactly the right amount of explanation of wtf was happening, both for the plot and Shyla's internal struggles.
