when i write a story i try to have something at least a little odd or formally surprising in it. current story's conceit is that i am attempting to imagine what it is like to be cishet

Really pleased to share this podcast I recorded with Sophie (@reproutopia.bsky.social) about a month ago. I think our conversation was fairly interesting but the idea of listening back to it gives me the horrors so you'll have to find out for yourself! thinkpieces-review.co.uk/podcast/epis...

just leveraged the full resources of my university to print one (1) copy of a zine i found on the wayback machine. the high is unbelievable

a photograph of an a5 zine printed on white paper, on top of a silver laptop covered in stickers. the zine is titled ‘Is There A Transgender Text In This Class?’ and the cover describes it as ‘a zine about teaching trans fiction & poetry’ by Tom Leger and Riley MacLeod. it was printed by Topside Press

in the future of "everything for everyone" there's no more academia. the narrators include a footnote explaining what it was because they live in a society where knowledge production is decentralised and free to all. that's been on my mind a lot the last few days

The panel from Watchmen where Ozymandias tells Nite Owl he's already executed his plan, but with his speech replaced so it reads: '"Do it?" / Dan, I don't actually have beliefs. I just said that shit to get elected. I never intended to do any of it. / We've already briefed against it.'

this cover is so funny to me because anyone with half a brain knows that political and cultural domination are not the same. the tories were in power in the UK for 12 years and in that time their supporters produced no culture worthy of the name

The cover of a new edition of New York Magazine, showing a large number of white twentysomethings, mostly in formal clothing and some wearing baseball caps, partying. The caption reads 'The Cruel Kids' Table: Out late with the young right as they contemplate cultural domination.', with a credit for the journalist, Brock Colyar

The New Directions edition of the first volume of ON THE CALCULATION OF VOLUME, a slim green book with a white oval on the front. Within the oval, which bears the book’s title, author (Solvej Balle) and translator (Barbara Haveland), is a stranges amorphous blod of red, yellow and a kind of dark blue, all blurred into each other in rings and occasionally overlapping the outside of the oval
