Slashback definitely the best West Coast event imo (outside cabinet in the woods now).

Mars @forestsofmars.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

I love Slashback and the vibes rule but it's not gonna be a massive tournament with every game like CB. It's a big west coast event for arcsys and uni but not much else.

Thanks homie. At some point in the run I just started playing with no thoughts beyond the game in front of me. Hope I can tap into that headspace more but that one might have been special.

Home from cabinet in the woods. My favorite event ever. And my best bracket performance for UNI ever as well. Proud of myself and even prouder of the ones who put this thing on. God I love fighting games

Sometimes a drug trip is a profound experience where you realize that you’ve been carrying pain in your heart for years, that you can forgive yourself. Other times you come up with a concept called “gay money” (money that’s gay) and you text your friend “gay money” days later. Both are healing. ❤️‍🩹

I have a tele and I really enjoy playing it. It's not as versatile in sound as some others but it hits certain tones really well and feels very nice in the hands.

But of all the fighting games, how do we determine which are serious, competitive games and which are just party games? Oh my dear doctor, they're *all* party games Even the Esports games? *Especially* the Esports games

if you’re brand new and just now getting into girls i would recommend starting with a beginner girl like 2B or Tifa first before moving onto more advanced girls like Ky Kiske

like. if you really cared about an up and coming fighting game that "plays like old anime games" you can just play e's laf++. you dont have to play a game that hid mikez until he got the dev role in the discord. like. if thats your angle about supporting avatar.

I think the benign explanation is that the games still need things for the player to do. It's hard to conceptualize challenge, progress, and conflict without bringing in either risk (making things non-cozy) or labor.
