I was so fortunate to run two sessions at the BAGLY trans youth summit today. Trans kids are among the bravest people in this country right now, and this was such an amazing event. An audience member sketched the panel I moderated; I’m on the right with the unorthodox podium mic setup.

As of yesterday afternoon, the National Park Service has been ordered to scrub their websites of all mentions of “transgender,” “queer,” and even their letters in the initialism. Stonewall is the most noticeable right now, but it’s everywhere.

The National Park Service has removed "T" and all mention of transgender people from the Stonewall National Monument. Trans women were some of the most influential activists behind the Stonewall movement and what followed. 3 articles of clothing laws were why raids happened. Erasure.
