My major criticism is the length. Its like 30 minutes too long. I get the point of the long shots and lingering, but I think it would be just as effective with some fat cut.

Most of the time its shots of ceilings, walls, a TV playing public use cartoons, ect. Great use of shadows, and liminal space. Its very lofi vibes based. Watch it in the dark, alone preferably with headphones. If it hits you will love it, if not probably one of your least fav films ever.

Time for a not so safe pick. #Skinamarink. This is my first one that's hard time reccomend. Not because its bad its just very atypical. Two children in a house their dad, all the windows, and the doors outside dissappear. Plot is sparse most of the film has no or very little dialog.

A little early but counting it. Saw #residentevil weekend of release. Loved it. Been a huge fan of the series since I played 1 at my cousin's back on ps1. Loves how every section was an area with a threat to overcome. Very game like, very funny, and the shots were gorgeous. Reccomended

Ed was in a fucked up position. He knew it. His typical apolitical stance was being challenged in a way it never had been before. He told me that the words
"Free Palestine" and the image of the Palestinian flag were hurtful to a lot of people he spoke with. I told him that if those words were more offensive than tens of thousands of Palestinian children being killed by Israel, then there was a fundamental disconnect between where those people stood and where I stood. But he couldn't get past his public facing, "I don't take sides."
