tonight’s random wine tip: you can sometimes find value in the single-appellation offerings of deeply untrendy corporate wineries. most kendall-jackson wines are competent but mass-produced & unremarkable. this “petaluma gap” pinot, though, is lively and well-made. got it on sale for under $20.
