Dan Olson @foldablehuman.bsky.social · 9hI show up and Vancouver gets two rain free, blue sky prairie days in a row? You can thank me later. 103706
Dan Olson @foldablehuman.bsky.social · 20hOmg there’s some good stuff in there, I’m seething that I had to cancel the trip 230
Dan Olson @foldablehuman.bsky.social · 02/10/2026Whose pattern did you get? I adapted this from Amigu.maru’s free pattern on instagram, but I love seeing all the little differences as I keep making different versions. 110
Dan Olson @foldablehuman.bsky.social · 02/10/2026Phone camera refuses to render this red as anything other than atomic-glow. 32930
Dan Olson @foldablehuman.bsky.social · 02/10/2026WIP The cloak was so bell-shaped I went off-pattern for the first time and added the scalloped white as the faydown lining. Plan on sewing in eyes with black wool and then felting them. She’s about 2x taller than my previous Hornets, which surprised me because I only went up half a hook size. 1289030
Dan Olson @foldablehuman.bsky.social · 01/10/2026People like to talk up how complicated and twisty the ending of American Psycho is, but the message is very simple and clear: real estate agents will gladly help you cover up a murder. 18129495
Dan Olson @foldablehuman.bsky.social · 01/10/2026No, in this case the media illiteracy is "Primetime glorifies pedophiles" 0651
Dan Olson @foldablehuman.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Primetime was good in the same vein as Nightcrawler and American Psycho; a movie about a person inside a system with a bleak, bleak conclusion. 126529
Dan Olson @foldablehuman.bsky.social · 29/09/2026Stasis and Manipulators are still in the box, never had a howling mines. 030
Dan Olson @foldablehuman.bsky.social · 28/09/2026Finally reached the oldest layers of my card boxes. 285737
Dan Olson @foldablehuman.bsky.social · 28/09/2026This evening AEW put out a press release announcing the extremely sudden death of wrestler Benjamin “Pac” Satterley, who was on last night’s PPV in top form; many of the cast learned of his death while at Andy’s memorial service. 72064
Dan Olson @foldablehuman.bsky.social · 28/09/2026Yesterday on All Out rookie Steve Borden Jr. took a hit to the head that led to the ring doctor halting the match and commentary filling time while Steve was removed and taken to the hospital for a CAT scan. (He was reportedly responsive at the hospital, but still potentially career-ending) 11781
Dan Olson @foldablehuman.bsky.social · 28/09/2026Later that week was an already-planned show dedicated to Rebel, a cast member diagnosed with ALS, whose condition is deteriorating quickly. 11501
Dan Olson @foldablehuman.bsky.social · 28/09/2026Just to contextualize this: Two weeks ago a wrestler on the AEW roster, Andy Williams, passed away very suddenly from a cardiac incident that happened in-ring at an indie show. 11593
Dan Olson @foldablehuman.bsky.social · 28/09/2026Legitimately IDK how I'd even talk myself into going in front of a crowd. 1610
Dan Olson @foldablehuman.bsky.social · 27/09/2026My buddy, who I fortunately didn’t have to play against, got two, and if they’re both out they just feed each other +1/+1 counters back and forth forever 120
Dan Olson @foldablehuman.bsky.social · 27/09/2026after a rocky first round wound up running UW around Jace (had no support for goyf) with a mix of scry triggers and life gain and swept my last two rounds. 020
Dan Olson @foldablehuman.bsky.social · 27/09/2026Foil goyf and the mythic Jace, plus some really fun cards like the hydra. 220
Dan Olson @foldablehuman.bsky.social · 26/09/2026Yeah, it was a lot of fun once I got my feet under me 120
Dan Olson @foldablehuman.bsky.social · 26/09/2026For the record I did get trounced in the first round specifically by someone who went because they saw this post 63521
Dan Olson @foldablehuman.bsky.social · 25/09/2026Thank you everyone, you absolutely made her day. (The PO Box will stay open until the end of November if you want to send anything else/for stuff that got delayed) 846111
Dan Olson @foldablehuman.bsky.social · 24/09/2026Gonna be doing the double-prizes pre-release at First Player on Friday night if you wanna humiliate me at a card game. 32941

Dan Olson @foldablehuman.bsky.social · 22/09/2026It's been a hot while since I last saw it, probably pre-2010 TBH, and it really hit me just how solid it is as a noir story. 43891
Dan Olson @foldablehuman.bsky.social · 22/09/2026Saw a post a couple months back like "why doesn't anime look like Ghost in the Shell (1995) anymore?" and all the replies were some variant of "my brother in Christ, anime in 1995 didn't even look like Ghost in the Shell." 3284
Dan Olson @foldablehuman.bsky.social · 22/09/2026Ghost in the Shell still rules, maybe try and get out to see it if the 30th anniversary print is screening near you. 2486722

Dan Olson @foldablehuman.bsky.social · 21/09/2026I think I have a Riftbound promo card here somewhere, but I cannot at the moment remember what it felt like or where it is. 020
Dan Olson @foldablehuman.bsky.social · 20/09/2026I will say: the cards feel really nice. They're kinda chunky in a satisfying way, and the one stamped foil I got looks really good. 42220
Dan Olson @foldablehuman.bsky.social · 20/09/2026Crystal signed us up for the Cyberpunk TCG “beta” prerelease, but we couldn’t go to the actual event because of the Saskatchewan trip, thus didn’t learn the rules, so we sat at Denny’s last night trying to decode the game purely by reading the cards. 113986
Dan Olson @foldablehuman.bsky.social · 18/09/2026The compelling lines of argument I'm seeing in the replies: Draft is worse because you have so many decisions to make about terrible cards and can't blame bad luck. Sealed is worse because everyone will have even lower powered decks to then try and win games with. 141771
Dan Olson @foldablehuman.bsky.social · 18/09/2026I was thinking 10 or 11 pack Sealed to make up for the slim packs, 5 or 6 pack Draft. 140
Dan Olson @foldablehuman.bsky.social · 18/09/2026Would Homelands be worse as Draft or Sealed? I have these friends, you see, and I really want to make sure they have a bad time. 423429

Dan Olson @foldablehuman.bsky.social · 11/09/2026Weird ask for the CMKM video: Does anyone have a friend or family member who used to work as a stock transfer agent before ~2010 who would be willing to fact check/contextualize some of the stuff we dug up? 720520
