My illness is still not fully cleared, and perhaps most irritatingly of all, I can't speak for very long periods of time or my voice gets all scratchy again. I think my first stream in a while will likely need to wait for October. Sorry everyone!

Focus @focussight.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

Since everyone else is doing it, I will too! Note the final game is the 1988 "Super Dodge Ball" in the states, which I played a ton of on Virtual Console. Weirdly the only English listed Super Dodge Ball was the 1996 one.

If I'm feeling healthy by then, I plan to stream something on Thursday evening of this week. Not sure exactly what yet, but I want to make it happen if my illness has passed! If not, expect something on Saturday (presuming illness clears by then as well).

I'll try and stream again at least once before the month is over if I can. I think after the end of baseball season, I should be a little more free to stream in place of watching games, though I don't think it'll be as often as that. Sorry again everyone for my virtual complete absence.

Focus @focussight.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

Sorry for the delay, work and class has been killing any free time I got, and I got sick coming back from a trip to NYC. I just want to apologize for my evaporating stream efforts. Full time work and half time study has drained a lot of energy and motivation for me to stream regularly.

Focus @focussight.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

Hey folks. Gonna make an announcement regarding my streams sometime soon, probably this weekend. I've been inactive for a bit and I want to just let folks know what's happening.

It looks better than I was fearing from manface Young Link in the first trailer, at least he looks like a kid now!!

Focus @focussight.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

Remake looks so much better than it did in the reveal trailer, it's way more stylized too. I love the free camera for areas that were previously prerendered too, that's awesome. I'm gonna preorder it for sure, November 5th is so much sooner than I was expecting

I was literally just cleaning the lenses with a cloth!! And they snapped like a twig!!

Focus @focussight.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

my glasses snapped in half after ten months of use; I was cleaning the lenses when it just broke like this. having to use my scratched old pair for like a month plus now and I feel a little feverish from the adjustment (it's the same prescription but a much different lens shape so my brain is fried)

I'll absolutely share photos when I get the nightguard later next month, super thankful for everyone for tuning in and supporting one way or another I will take a break from streaming until this coming Saturday, as I need to recoup my energy a bit haha

Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart. I really do appreciate it <3

Focus @focussight.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

After all is said and done, managed to get $200 to help with my dental costs—I honestly thought even $100 would've been a success, but you all blew that out of the water! While it's shy of the $250 goal, I'm still incredibly happy with it overall, as it covers a vast majority of the nightguard cost.

to be absolutely fair most children's licensed games don't release over the course of 8 years

001

Stream tentatively starting around 6PM, though if I can start sooner, I will.

010

I think I will need to reschedule Mina the Hollower to tomorrow night after work is done. I'm feeling quite ill right now and my head is hurting quite a bit from pushing myself over the past 8 hours on a diet day. We hit $130 of our $250 goal, so we'll try to raise the remaining $120 tomorrow.

Pipstrello was fantastic fun! We're now onto Penny's Big Breakaway, and we're nearly halfway to the goal already at $115 / $250! Join in! www.twitch.tv/FocusSight

hey folks, just letting everyone know that classes begin for me next Tuesday—there is a good chance that with the hecticness of both class and work, that I will be pretty absent or less talkative than I may normally be, so please understand that if I grow distant. I wanna finish grad school strong!

THIS SUNDAY: I'm finally doing that 12-hour fundraiser stream as rescheduled! Help me get a nightguard by supporting me as I play three indie games for the first time: Pipistrello, Penny's Big Breakaway, and Mina the Hollower! Starts at 8AM EDT on Sunday, August 23rd!

Trying for second place (or better) in Sonic Labyrinth Beat the Game! Potential shorter stream. www.twitch.tv/FocusSight

Focus @focussight.bsky.social · 20/08/2026

Just a reminder that we start in just over an hour! I'm unsure how long the stream will be as that really depends on how many attempts I end up doing. If I get second place on Beat the Game first try I will just stop streaming after that lol, sorry to say

Focus @focussight.bsky.social · 18/08/2026

THIS WEEK: Alongside the day long stream on Sunday, I'm going to go for PB in Beat the Game in Sonic Labyrinth on Thursday evening! Aiming for second place if I can, so let's see if we can do it on the Game Gear at 6PM EDT :>

Focus @focussight.bsky.social · 18/08/2026

Socials is really the only way I see if you're streaming or not, when you post links to your streams and all.
