My acquisition style is Trash Panda. If something is pretty, doesn't take long to play and cheaper than a boba, I'll give it a shot! But this is the first time I bought something because the reviews were so odd and intriguing.

I'm that weirdo at the thrift on their phone looking stuff up forever before purchasing. Cheap doesn't matter anymore, if I can't table it, what's the point? I don't profit off of resales. I usually sell games for store credit at a local FLGS or consignment toy store. But someone cleaned house!

It took me maybe two weeks solid, but I finally beat the automa. I played Pocket 2p yesterday for the first time. The teach and play was seamless because the automa works very well to learn the game.

I won 56 to 49 in a solo game of Wingspan Pocket.

My friend took me out for belated bday dinner. I chose the new Game Parlour location in Oakland. Solidified that I like Wingspan Pocket better than OG, and shared a plate of tasty chicken. Everything on the menu is GF, if that's a thing for your and yours!

If you're in Oakland and want to imbibe in some Yashi tea, this one is cheaper than the other. Like $9 vs. $5.50. 😳 It's the same tea, but without the hella expensive lemon she imports from China. It is a regular, degular, American lemon. Also, I discovered their green tea jelly is good!

My fam and @sndtst.bsky.social 's fam have shared custody of my OG Wingspan. It lives there and I play it with them! I bought Pocket to have a little span time at home. Learning the solo at work. I'm feeling like Pocket makes more sense for my gaming habits now!

Getting to know the solo version of Wingspan Pocket on my lunch break. I've eaten all but one bite of my leftover slow cooker beef roast ragù and pasta.

Idk what niche genre this is. But very pretty / handsome boys solving mysteries in a slightly BL way has become my recent obsession I guess. In Pretty Boy Detective Club they admit a girl for the first time, but she has to be in a pretty boy disguise. No one at school blinks an eye. 🥰

Poppy's in Petaluma is a toy store with a play area AND boba / coffee shop on site. Feeling very smol holding these very giant Smart Game puzzle pieces.

Matcha again! 🍵 Have to be careful not to Go Nuts this. Years ago when I had a wee 8 yr old we played Go Nuts for Donuts on repeat for weeks, & now she refuses to play (unless friends want to). We realized how to play defensively w/ stealing & placing the gold ring. Plays take a bit longer now.

Matcha got so many plays this week! A hit with my non-gamer husband and my picky teen. It's a keeper! A good, quick one to play at a boba shop or restaurant. The components can be cleaned easily. It's got a classic feeling, like it's been around forever.
