I listen to a lot of podcasts. Some feel like the hosts are trying to get through a checklist in a certain amount of time, and some feel like a conversation. It's a certain skill to record & edit a natural conversation that is guided by a checklist.

My fam and @sndtst.bsky.social 's fam have shared custody of my OG Wingspan. It lives there and I play it with them! I bought Pocket to have a little span time at home. Learning the solo at work. I'm feeling like Pocket makes more sense for my gaming habits now!

Getting to know the solo version of Wingspan Pocket on my lunch break. I've eaten all but one bite of my leftover slow cooker beef roast ragù and pasta.

Idk what niche genre this is. But very pretty / handsome boys solving mysteries in a slightly BL way has become my recent obsession I guess. In Pretty Boy Detective Club they admit a girl for the first time, but she has to be in a pretty boy disguise. No one at school blinks an eye. 🥰

One parent passed away, and one got put in assisted living this past few months. Now I find myself feeling super proud (and slightly weepy) of any elder who is out and about slowly doing daily life with their walker. Like, "Yes! You're doing it! It may take forever, but you are doing it!" 🥳🥹👵🏻👴🏻

My 9/11 memory was my Asian American History teacher immediately printing out problematic quotes from the very recent news coverage and connecting it to what we were just studying. She wanted us to examine racist rhetoric and how it was already being applied. She made history alive that day.

Idk if this happens to other Filipinos in Oakland. When I'm in Chinatown, people expect me to speak Chinese, but when I'm almost anywhere else in the town, folks assume I speak Spanish. Like I do a little, lot of folks around here do, but "poquito y despacio, por FAVOR!"

Thrifted Cupcake Academy for $3.75 today. It's supposed to be for age 8 and up, but it's hard!!! We had a house rule to both say "Yes, Chef," when we're ready to change cards. This house rule makes it so much more intense! 😂
