Old enough to remember the Ceefax loop on early morning BBC 2, but not wise enough to keep quiet about it. Love cats, builders tea and the smell of long-unopened old books. 💚 Hope not hate 💚 🇵🇸 I support Plasticine Action 🇵🇸 Pronouns: helicopter/tractor

Just started watching channel 4's Great ADHD Myth documentary. I can't believe someone thought having massively distracting jiggling images behind interviewees would be a good idea - they need their head looking at, not me. #adhd #channel4 #neurodiversity

I WAS disgusted the other day
when the obituary column of
my local newspaper printed that I
had died. Not only that, they got my
date of birth, place of residence and
family details all wrong. As a result I
had to storm into the funeral to tell
everyone I was still alive. They told
me that there was another John Smith
living locally, and after speaking to his
relatives and opening his coffin I saw
that it was true. I had a good laugh
about it after.

FOR years now, instead of
getting an extra hour in bed

I've saved the extra hours in an old

I honestly don't know what Labour are fannying about for at this point. Keir Starmer won't be there for the next election ... that is clear. They might as well crack on. And if they're genuinely serious about stopping Reform - introduce PR with their majority and embrace multi-party politics.

I'd go further & suggest he show how many of the problems & divisions in the UK were caused by the carefully orchestrated and internationally financed Brexit movement. Explain that the public were lied to. If the British public want to be angry, aim them at the people who deserve it.

APPARENTLY, octopuses
have three brains. If I had
three brains - like an octopus - I
would use one just to think about
food and another to think about
shagging. The third one, when
needed, I would use for movement,
basic social interaction, and
thinking up excuses. I think they
have three stomachs as well, and
I would keep one just for
puddings.

A please @labouruk.bsky.social, stop saying that it's up to us to stop Reform. YOU could stop a Reform government in 2029, by introducing the proportional representation so many in the country have been clamouring for. The only way Farage can win is through our crazy first-past-the-post system.
