This is still a place for me to lurk, like, and sometimes pimp my Etsy shop. Otherwise, it’s not me, but you, Bluesky. I’m only sorry I’m spending way too much time on a Meta property. Fucking Zuckerberg.

Funny how in all the talk about Threads and other socials here, nobody brings up Bluesky. I wanted to like Bluesky and went there after I grew disenchanted with the growth of MAGA bots and ads here. Now I’m back after learning to better curate my feed and finding interaction and common ground with actual people who talk to you.

Bluesky, sadly, is where the honors students and hipster kids talk amongst themselves about their college applications and nobody talks to you. It’s kind of sad.

Went to an early screening of “Forgotten Island” this afternoon. I didn’t cry as much as I expected, but it brought back a flood of Filipino American childhood memories: parties, food, snippy neighbors, food, cheesy bursts into song, food.
