As an asexual myself, I have heard so many times people claiming they can "cure" me of being asexual. I've had people say "You just need to get laid right", "You just haven't had good sex", & "You've never been with me. And I've known many other aces who've heard the same.

Just got my windshield replaced after a rock cracked it on the freeway earlier this week. Thankfully my insurance covered the whole thing 🥹 I’ve been so anxious about this all week. The cold weather and all the freeway driving I have to do for work really did a number on it. Stretch the whole way.

I wanted my students to grasp that the issues Woodson faces in the book and that Ruby Bridges and many others faced were not nearly as long ago as they think. I showed them that not only is Ruby still around, but we pulled up her Instagram page. It lead to some amazing conversations in my classes ❤️
