A small trip to Poland is planned in the middle of August. The anniversary of my immigration (returning home in my language) is a bittersweet day. Because I am doomed to see my country of birth... well... dying, becoming a horror land. I am doomed to see my pets dying, my relatives too, be away from my family. Just to be able to exist as a human being.

I'm so happy for my Hungarian friends and for this somewhat neighbouring country. The post of tribute to my beloved EN57/EN71 trains. I've managed to catch 2 of them during this trip, but it's pretty sad seeing their era gone and only a fracture of them still holding up and being in active service even in the SKM of Tri-City, known as a retro heaven for this type. 😔

_dynia G_ówna... ahem, sorry, Gdynia Glówna, the main station. Despite the known joke name, it is in fact a very, VERY decent train station with its historical building kept in pristine condition. And just like in Budapest it has got a McDonald's which feels absolutely otherworld-y.

Jastrzębia Góra, the northernmost point of Poland. There is no way further - only Scandinavia very far ahead beyond the sea. Here, the local seafood was finally somehow found and eaten, despite the awkward one-sized language barrier.
