Update: He chose his own name! He thinks he is a Frederico, at least he responded happily to it. My other boy cat is Ronaldo, so we have a theme going here!

Ofcourse people care about what they’re paying every month. That’s also why CleanLane deserves attention, if the county is making a major investment in the waste system, we should know what it’s costing and who will ultimately pick up the bill.

I think this will be one of the defining images of the Premier League's void years: a proudly working class fanbase celebrating that the ruling family of an oppressive regime had hired a barrister on £10,000-an-hour to try and prevent them suffering consequences for their cheating. Embarrassing.

A bunch of mugs celebrating their perceived impunity

CVS is having outage issues right now. Not a huge deal until you're actually trying to refill a prescription or pick up your meds and the system isn't working. It's truly a hassle if you're in prescriptions. downdetector.com/status/cvs-h...

He’s 38 now and hasn’t played in the NFL in 10 years. Goodell and the owners ran out the clock on his career, which almost certainly was the rotten plan from the beginning.

I don't think making healthcare more affordable means blaming the people managing the pharmacy benefit. PBMs have a real role in negotiating costs. The bigger issue is how we get some of these extremely expensive drugs priced lower to begin with.

Wait, so the concern is that manufacturers could respond by raising prices in other countries? That really shows how much control drug companies have over pricing across different markets huh. And still the middlemen are the one that gets blamed.

Lowering the midecation price is great, but I’d be watching what happens when someone actually goes to fill the prescription. That’s where the difference becomes real.

Qinwen Zheng waves goodbye to the U.S. Open crowd after her loss to Elena Rybakina at the U.S. Open. After an elbow injury that required surgery and held her back, she had to come here as a qualifier. She leaves as a quarterfinalist once again, and will be back to #52 in the world on.. 🇨🇳🥹

It definitely feels like something needs to change. I’d especially like to see more attention on why some medications are priced so high in the first place. Most of the time we're just looking in the middle.

I really agree with you. I’d hate to see more independent pharmacies disappear, but I also don’t think blaming PBMs gets us any closer to a solution. There has to be a way to keep these pharmacies sustainable without losing the parts of the system that actually help keep medications affordable.

Another drugmaker agreeing to lower US prices is a good sign. The more manufacturers that participate, the more pressure there is to make prescription drugs affordable for Americans. Maybe it's time for big pharma to take this step also.
