The train horn now blasts for like 2 minutes straight

Tyler Horsfall @flopfish.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

I’d say they need to run more often but a person/vehicle has been hit by a train like every 3-4 days over the past month out here so maybe not the best of ideas

Also the soon-to-be-one boy will be 2 next year and that’ll be a little more complicated lol

000

Tyler Horsfall @flopfish.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Yeah we’re not as sure especially if costs go up again. It’s a bit of a drive from Mission

200

Tyler Horsfall @flopfish.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Yep, just wish it was not a fill out for a refund thing and automatically done

100

Tyler Horsfall @flopfish.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Yeah I had to search member? I think. That or ticket leader.

110

Tyler Horsfall @flopfish.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Yeah I’ll be able to email later but made sure I got my email screencap of the 15 games lol

110

Tyler Horsfall @flopfish.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Slightly annoyed we were quoted and paid for 15 home games but are only actually getting 13. Hopefully they refund the other two

220

Tyler Horsfall @flopfish.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

He had a huge one in the second that made me double check it was him too.

120

Tyler Horsfall @flopfish.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

it’s just fun times all around here. Vibes are better than when they were winning imo lol

020

Tyler Horsfall @flopfish.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

The team fought hard after being down 8-2 and made it a game? They scored lots of goals? HUGE CHEER!

1110

Tyler Horsfall @flopfish.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

I’m just happy they never gave up. This team would’ve flopped belly up if a certain player or two was still on the team

100

Tyler Horsfall @flopfish.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Is it a good thing to allow 13 goals against to the 2026-27 Vancouver Canucks

The #Canucks STILL have not given up on this game. You wanna talk about what a culture change can do for a team, holy shit there was some toxicity in that locker room!

It’s going to be interesting to see the Oilers play a team not called the Canucks. They’ve given up 12 goals in 2 games against the worst team in the league. Imagine them playing a team like the Avs or VGK. I’d be worried if I were an EDM fan.

Tyler Horsfall @flopfish.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

had the exact same thought lol

Tyler Horsfall @flopfish.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

EP40 on a 2 game point streak! Bains has a goal! WOOO

Tyler Horsfall @flopfish.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Their only true lady byng candidate cannot stay healthy since they went full asshole 🤔

030

Tyler Horsfall @flopfish.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

I’d 8-2 be Lankinen right now

000

Tyler Horsfall @flopfish.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

That’s a vintage Boeser shot

010

Tyler Horsfall @flopfish.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

we’ll let him score against us but only us.

010

Tyler Horsfall @flopfish.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

I can’t take credit for it; a mutual found it and sent it to me haha

010

Tyler Horsfall @flopfish.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

And this is why you celebrate wins when you’re a rebuilding team

060

Tyler Horsfall @flopfish.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

He was pretty rough last year too, just it was hard to tell if it was him or Foote. I think it’ll take time for him to unlearn, but both he and EP25 had issues

000

Tyler Horsfall @flopfish.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

My big worry is that it seems like players are starting to deliberate attack his side, which isn’t a good thing

000

Tyler Horsfall @flopfish.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

I really want to see Willander improve his gap control, entry defense, and pretty much every part of his defensive game this season

240

Tyler Horsfall @flopfish.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

Nearly got demolished by someone on their phone while driving my son to daycare this morning. Hate that being on your phone while driving has become more “accepted”

020

Tyler Horsfall @flopfish.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

was there an internal memo that if a player’s stick breaks, the opposition gets a penalty no matter what?

241

Tyler Horsfall @flopfish.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

it is nice to see the team not have a total meltdown when they blow a lead like they would’ve a couple of years ago

060

Tyler Horsfall @flopfish.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

That forecheck is worth a 2nd rounder alone

180

Tyler Horsfall @flopfish.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

It doesn’t have to be bad if they’re competent (lol). The XFL and AFL already did live reviews very well. Just an extra set of eyes would be helpful because then the refs can actually watch the play and not guess lol

000

Tyler Horsfall @flopfish.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Purely reactionary to the broken stick. Gotta get an off-ice video official soon

100

Tyler Horsfall @flopfish.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Refs in prime playoff form early

250

Tyler Horsfall @flopfish.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

They had a 1.062 against them last year, 1.078 the year prior (18%!!! Shooting percentage), but 0.860 in 23-24. Wild stuff

000

Tyler Horsfall @flopfish.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

it’s really funny that the Oilers still suck at defending the rush after 3 different coaches

130

Tyler Horsfall @flopfish.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Shockingly, it’s only .981 in all situations since 23-24

Darnell Nurse held the oilers defence together

Honestly my favourite part of the Canucks actually being in a rebuild at this point is that you can just cheer for everything. Goals? Yay! Wins? Team’s learning! Losses? Better draft pick! Everything is a positive outside of injuries

1131

Tyler Horsfall @flopfish.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Also, really feel for Merzlikins and his career as a whole. Was really good his first three seasons, then lost his best friend and teammate to a firework accident, and then the CBJ goal cannon triggered PTSD in him after that. Hopefully he can come back healthy

020

Tyler Horsfall @flopfish.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

oh, the other funny part is how the Blue Jackets went out and got Nichushkin to try to get Marchenko to stay.

000

Tyler Horsfall @flopfish.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

My analysis on the Leafs trade is that Miles Wood is very David Clarkson coded

I wonder if the toaster that Randy Carlyle struggled with got reincarnated into their fax machine

100

Tyler Horsfall @flopfish.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

I think he's a perfectly acceptable backup/1B. The defensive environment in Edmonton sucked; he was actually above replacement in Pittsburgh IIRC

000

Tyler Horsfall @flopfish.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

I could not believe that Columbus was over the cap. I wonder if the Canucks can get a sweetener to take on a dude from them.

020

Tyler Horsfall @flopfish.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Clay Stevenson is the 3rd/4th string goalie that I think deserves a legitimate NHL shot the most based off of his track record of stopping pucks really well at every single level he's played at since 2019-20. His only year below a .910 Sv% is 2024-25 in the AHL.

Tyler Horsfall @flopfish.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

NHL's title on DeBrusk's GWG tonight is "DeBrusk rips in go-ahead goal" which, at first, seemed like a typo because it could be tips in. But nope, the description is "Jake DeBrusk finishes the play with a slap shot upstairs, putting the Canucks up 4-3 late in the 3rd period"

Tyler Horsfall @flopfish.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

Have already joked about this with friends, but then we all realized it’d be funnier if he went to Montreal but still never wins the cup
