The important Breton megalithic site at Saint-Just, near Rennes, was ravaged by fire yesterday. The dolmens and menhirs have already survived several fires and are still standing. I hope the same will be true this year 😞

Of course, stripes would look absolutely awful. But I’m sure that, with the new research currently in progress, particularly on DNA, you’ll have to propose a new colour for north-western France in the next versions.

Hi, thanks for your work! I'm still a bit confused about the green colour assigned to central-western France. It should be half green and half blue with stripes. We don't really know except that it's a high zone of contacts between both. What do you think @tperrin.bsky.social?

A few hundred metres from the Goasseac'h cairn, which I excavate every year, a very well-preserved Bronze Age settlement has been excavated over the last two years by INRAP. Unfortunately, except for two pits, there is no feature directly associated with the Middle Neolithic period.

The lost medieval cloister of Carhaix (Brittany, France) has finally been found at the Nelson-Atkins Museum in Kansas City. It had been sold in 1930 to an unknown destination in the United States. Congratulations to Anne Derrien-Esnault and @inrap.fr for their hard work.
