I'm not a Figma user, but would like to give a shout out to the Figma team. I administer GitHub Enterprise for our organization, and just received a request from the GitHub Figma integration for LESS permissive access. This is incredibly rare and a testament to their team being responsible.

This is an amazing haul by Roseman. It is sad, but I was thinking Jurgens (and Dickerson) are both cooked. I wish it wasn't the case, but they were already incredibly hurt during the 2024 Super Bowl run, all of 2025, and now into 2026, despite the trips to Columbia. I wish Jurgens the best, but...

Lane Johnson retired, one of the greatest NFL players ever. He rejected "tough guy" bullshit: his humility and courage saved lives. An NFL offensive lineman so open and vulnerable to share his mental health struggles. He's a Hall of Fame football player and a Hall of Fame human being.
Lane Johnson waves goodbye.

Lane Johnson retired today. Not surprising. Possibly the most valuable player in Eagles history. The Eagles are 93-41-1 since 2017 with Johnson, and 13-21 when he’s out.

They hired the no-name because he would have no-power. This offense reeks of Siriani, again. Just like Kevin Patullo's and Brian Johnson's. The stupid horizontal passes to wide receivers. The lack of any kind of slant passes to combat blitzes. It's all just so dumb.

I was worried when they hired Mannion instead of Reich that he's just be a proxy for "Siriani's offensive concept." I didn't want to be right. But it sure looks the same as last year.

Lot of issues here but one part that sticks out in light of the almost-attacked-a-Chinese-ship story today: people with very important jobs where lives are at stake have bought the hype and outsourced their whole brains to AI. We're going to see more and more of this. www.cnn.com/2026/09/18/p...
In the past year, the Defense Department has rapidly made Maven a cornerstone of the US military apparatus. Several former senior US military officials now work for Palantir, including some with high-level security clearances in Centcom’s Tampa headquarters. Their role is to keep the software functioning inside secure military environments. Some Centcom personnel expected Maven to flag stale information or inconsistencies in the underlying intelligence assembled for potential targets, the officials said. It’s not clear why they had such expectations.
The intelligence report, circulated across the US military this spring in the midst of the war with Iran, immediately set off alarm bells: A Chinese ship in the Middle East was transporting components of a nuclear weapons program.

The US military swung into action with plans to intercept the vessel, according to four sources familiar with the episode. According to two of the sources, armed members of the US military were preparing to board the ship. Military planes were in the air, one of those sources and another source familiar with the incident said.

It was only just before the planned operation that officials dug deeper into the report put together by a special operations command analyst and found it had been generated with the help of artificial intelligence (AI) — and that a chatbot the analyst had used inaccurately identified the material the ship was carrying. CNN was not able to learn what the misidentified cargo was.

Technology being everywhere doesn’t mean it belongs everywhere. The tech industry wants us to believe that AI in early education is not only inevitable, but necessary. We don't see it that way. This week, we announced a moratorium on generative AI for public school students in 2-K to 8th grade.
We’re eliminating AI use for students in 2-K through 8th grade for the upcoming school year.
