Seattle visit was a good time, but I fear it is now time to go back to my home planet :(

Flik @flik.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

Getting off my butt and going into vacation mode this weekend. Driving to Seattle to visit some friends. Never done a full blown west drive so this will be nice. Ignore the 1,400 miles each way part..

It's time! Applications for performers are now open! Ever wanted to come play at VGM CON? Or maybe you already have, and you had such an amazing time that you want to come back! You can get your application in for consideration right now! Applications will be open until 10/31 so don't wait too long!

Depression saga continues. Had serious conversations at work and learned things. My employment ends in a month. Guess I didn't understand the retention agreement correctly. The company I'm supposed to go to has not given an offer yet expects me to travel to their main office to onboard?

Little boxy people discussing beer and pizza. I was drinking beer while drawing them, so am I them, or are they me?

Been feeling irrelevant as the days go by. Friendships fade, career and talents go stagnant, and I wonder if I'll ever crawl out of this. I don't feel like I can call myself an artist, a creator, a voice actor, or anything anymore. Not looking for pity. Just observing my own decline.

We took @magfest.org right into the danger zone. The love and the hype we felt from the crowd during that show were unbelievable. Even from people who had never played AC in their life! To all who showed up, IRL or on stream: thank you. Photo by the amazing @zeroserenity.com (more to come soon!)

Photo of the performers from the Tiberian Sons: Ace Combat Cinematic Experience, taken from the Magfest main stage. The musicians include a rock band (The Tiberian Sons), a brass section (The Game Brass), a string quartet (Videri String Quartet), two percussionists (Dom Palombi and Yusef Kelliebrew) and a singer (Laura Intravia).

Behind the musicians is a large crowd, most of whom are throwing the sign of the horns.

Having a moment tonight. Playing with my friend's 3 year old, having a fun time and thinking, "this is what it's like to be a dad!" and remembering I'm not a dad. And now I'm sad :) But at least I caught a moment of what it's like to be someone to a little someone.

After slicing a knuckle open cutting sheet metal to install a humidification system in my house, I brought up some Hazbin Hotel and sat there thinking how nice it would be to really get back into voice acting again. And then I laughed in my head remembering I can't even get myself to do anything.

It's weird. Realizing I'm the only single person I know and rarely having any friends or even coworkers to hang out with. Trying so damn hard to not lose it everyday. Unless it's some big event I'm at or visiting my parents (thank god they are still alive) life is pretty lonely.
