Thank you for everything Tapas, I'll miss working there so much and miss having a great first home for my webcomic.

My book came in! Unfortunately, it was the wrong version (I got the hardcover) but still cool to see the softcover one I made physically

I tried to join a group for local events so I can find cool stuff to go do, and EVERY SINGLE POST was ai flyers. That all looked exactly the same, ugly ass brush fonts and Pixar kids/people. I need this shit to pop now

If someone told me I'd be freelancing doing book layout and design work for a big indie animation studio 5 years ago, I'd call them super stupid. But here we are and I'm still in shock. Waiting patiently to get my copy of KoG artbook....

Destiny was such a huge part of my life for so long. My now fiance reconnected with me telling me to get it to raid with them, my friends I met through random encounters I still know today, it started my webcomic creation journey. I will cherish it forever for changing my life in such a great way.

Wanted to give myself some time away from grieving (My meemaw died this past Sunday and it’s been really hard) to redraw some old comic panels. Maybe I can draw upon the classic “Greiving Victorian artist creates masterpieces” to get back into making the comic

I'm feeling nostalgic while listening to music that reminds me of my comic, so wanted to bring back some favs of Jeremoth/Kol

I just saw the Hiveworks stuff going around. Remembering back when I dreamed of becoming a HV creator back when I started my comic (10 years ago wow) But I remember everyone also saying there was a "Hiveworks curse" and --- (continued below)

If you need some something spooky to read, I also have a webcomic (Hiatus currently, but I do plan on returning to it once I fix the story and get more time to dedicate to it again, more readers means I get more motivation to work on it again haha) livingwhendead.com/comic/origin...

The Cat's outta the bag, I designed the Lackadaisy Mixer book! It was such a fun and challenging task to make this real, so go grab your copy! Tracy and the LD team and Glitch's team were so awesome to work with <3 I really appreciate them

year of the snake! Here's progress shots and then the final pic. Still getting used to the new paint, I like a lot of it but miss the old versions more and more. Might revert back.

I didn’t want my last art for 2024 to be just work related art that I can’t even post lol so I had to make a very quick Blaine and jer doodle to make it end on a good note! Here’s to 2024, a pretty ok year, let’s have 2025 be a good one for all 💕✨

Hello, I'm Koolaid! A senior graphic designer at a comic company, also freelance designer/illustrator on the side. I make a webcomic called Living When Dead (indefinite hiatus) and make silly ms paint fanart.

Zombie Jeremoth TW: some gore. If you don’t know Jeremoth from my webcomic, he’s a 1920s doctor who may or may not have turned himself into a zombie and now the reaper who wants his soul is his hate/love relationship. It’s complicated.
