Nope, not at all. Lyla told Zenos then in StB (more in body language than in words, because she was not trying to have a conversation with him—she let him monologue so her party had a bit more time to recover from the Menagerie fight) and multiple times since that he was very wrong about her. #🌙🔪

Nioh'to wrote his on relationships between physiolatry and various biological cycles and phenomena within the Black Shroud. It was long.

Nioh'to Zelekko, a Moon Keeper Miqo'te with blue-grey skin and black hair with blue highlights, stands in a relaxed pose on the stone roof of a building in sunny Labyrinthos. He holds a Fat Cat umbrella and poses with one leg crossed in front of the other.

He has Wings of Ascension nouliths on his back. He's wearing a Sharlayan diadema, Menphina earring, turquoise Cape of Happiness, Woodland Warden breeches, Isle Explorer's halfgloves, and Isle Explorer's booys.

FINAL FANTASY XIV @en.finalfantasyxiv.com · 08/10/2026

A bear-y grisly celebration is on its way. 🐻 All Saints' Wake returns to FFXIV on Thursday, October 15! 👻 sqex.to/p39ox

Image is the key illustration for the All Saints' Wake 2026 event. A large figure in a full-body bear costume with exaggerated stitching and button embellishments looms ominously in the back with its mouth open wide and tongue sticking out. They are holding a pipe in one hand and green smoke emanates from around their head. In front of them to the left is Leofard, who is looking up at the bear and grinning while shrugging his shoulders. To the right Cait Sith looks back at the bear figure with a scared expression, front paws sticking out and tail raised in fear. The background of the illustration is decorated with carved pumpkins and small ghosts.

I've added it to Lyla's canon and no one in Eorzea—and especially no one in the Shroud—bats an eye at her running around with various beasts. She's had a reputation for befriending all sorts of things for years (her sire Nioh'to is also a BST but of a different school than the one Lyla's learning)

Lyla will have whole bibliographies available in multiple formats, especially for professional works (her scribe mammet Quill is invaluable there) but she doesn't always go into detail in regular conversation. Sometimes it is just "trust me" citations or personal anecdotes in which she omits things

Lyla recognizes but hasn't learned the shorthand. Nashu's sisters and Hildy all know it #🌙🗃️

I have returned. The Destiny is Black excellence! 🤩 This was my first cruise ever, not just my first DCL one, and it's spoiled me completely. also got to catch up with an old friend at Dr. Facilier's parlor and that made this vacation even better 😌 💜💀✨

The Black Panther statue in the Grand Hall of the Disney Destiny cruise ship.

The statue is of T'challa and a black leopard standing on a rock, looking out at the hall. T'challa is in his Black Panther suit and a staircase ascends behind the statue. The hall is themed after Wakanda.

Lyla often does not, but she can't deny that it's helped her at times. Sometimes she has the Tony Hawk effect going on where people don't notice she's actually that Lyla Sylvie unless they see her with gear she's known for using.

In Kugane, Lyla stands with her arms crossed. She's wearing a black and purple Courtly Lover's robe, Archmage hat, Night of Devilry gloves, and has her Manderville Scythe on her back.

Lyla has been very deeply and permanently affected, but she's as healed from it as she's going to be.

A wide shot of Lyla, a Moon Keeper Miqo'te with brown skin and long black hair in a high ponytail, stands in Ul'dah during the Rising. She's near the Lalafell Rising Attendant in front of the Ruby Road Exchange stairs and she's looking at the decorated stage across the pathway.

Lyla's wearing a metallic dark blue Summertide dress and her black coeurl kitten minion is behind her.

Lyla sits in Mih Khetto's Ampitheatre during the Rising. The stage is decorated for the event. Her back is to the camera and her blue morpho butterfly sits on her shoulder.

Lyla is wearing a metallic white and sky blue spring dress, and her Legacy mark is visible on her back. She's also wearing her Menphina earring and has rainbow brightlilies in her hair.
