Expecting a crime scene! Last time we visited the store, we saw this...

There's a large cuddly bear on its back, on the floor, amongst furniture, in IKEA. It was sat on a chair, but it looks like it was pushed over. Someone's drawn a white crime scene outline around it.

Walked home by this 'beauty' at the end of our street, last night. It's up for demolition, but the three remaining (elderly) residents are holding out against the compulsory purchase price. It's one of three tower blocks in my local area that have structural failings.

London's surprisingly hilly. It's more undulating than flat. Where I live in the outer reaches of north London, it's quite elevated and hilly. Similarly an east-west swathe south of the Thames is too. But I should be ok with my immediate location (Lee Valley) being relatively low lying and 'smooth'.

I saw this "NO MORE HOMES FOR THE RICH!" graffiti, sprayed on one of the lock buildings along the Lee Navigation canal. It's in the shadow of hi-spec apartment blocks being built for people who can no longer afford London Zone 2 but are wealthy enough to push existing residents out of Walthamstow.
