Heck, I don't even use datamerge in InDesign or whatever. Anyways, what I do know, is that the creative power of the people we at Flatout Games have had the privilege of working with is so immense. I love every minute of the process of making games and the relationships formed in doing it together.

I admittedly don't know a whole lot about AI. I make games with my friends and the richness of our process comes from our collaboration. I love the messy, difficult, analog parts of game design and publishing and automating parts of the process don't really appeal to me...

We are really upset about the statements and the overall idea that creative ideas can be 'generated'. I (Shawn) also personally believe that any kind of statement about the 'inevitability' of something is a weak argument. We have the power to decide how we want to respond to the rise of AI use.

Got a chance to play @fanfactories.bsky.social 's Honeypot @flatoutgames.bsky.social tonight. While I tend to stay away from "I cut you choose" style games, this game feels so good in the later rounds in figuring out how your opponent is going to read the dossier you passed them. Review Tuesday!
