I concede that the combination doesn't sound good, but it does actually work. Alright, the peanuts are a bit weird and the odd one out texture wise, but still kinda works. The rest blends very well together though. All soft textures and flavours

AfD Youth is posting about unification of German people. Belive them, when they say who they are. Not far right, not nazi like but actually exactly like nazis. P.S And yes, they are Putins favorite party in Germany

Like not using seat belts, smoking in the car (with children😳) etc. Some things are nice to have's, other things we really don't need. And some things that we have now, we really shouldn't have. There's such a thing as making it too comfortable to drive, making people no longer actually "drive"

I'd slightly adapt the thing about AC to that we didn't _know_ we needed it, as half dying while hanging on for dear life in the tornado of open windows was seen as a normal thing😅 While there's an element of "Hard times make hard men..." etc, some things are just good that we moved away from

Maybe a bit much to ask from them, but it's why it shouldn't be up to them. As a general rule of thumb people: If you don't fully understand something, but think it seems alright, but the experts in the field scream "Don't!", you should take their word for it😅

For this one, a simple check with some basic assumptions would possibly not have told them if this was ok, but it would have that it was that it's not. "Dude, this is seriously compressing the suspension! If one side is fully compressed and chopper center of mass is in the center, could it tip?"

And then the people responsible break the stock market, the banks fold from the carousel of bad loans passed around etc...and you end up having to go back to work because they vaporised your savings... No wonder it repeats when it's always someone else paying for it. Fingers crossed you get to chill

When choosing products nowadays I no longer assume that functions will work as advertised when even Notepad is bugged, and my main criteria are stability and privacy. Both of those are hard to come by 😕 From loving tech all my life, I've come to kinda despise it

As an end user who used to be excited for all new things tech, I now find myself not caring about new things as it's just a continuous arc of enshittyfication and I now spend literal months of my year working around bugs in both my private and professional life.

Like the MTLB's with the strapped on naval missile batteries from a few years back or the flatbed with a helicopter gun, the result of numnuts thinking that if the vehicle can nominally hold it then it's ok, and no one around to stop them 🙄 Amusing though and I'm not complaining 🙂

Quantum modems are a fun headline but the boring truth is SIGINT, pattern-of-life tracking, and someone in a uniform talking. Sanctions data gap is the real scandal: we measure announcements, not whether Moscow's machine actually slowed.

I'm lucky that most of conflicts that my cats have are fairly benign. Usually caused by an someone else's cat challenging mine. Mine are complete pushovers, but as I've got 3 they gang up to stare menacingly at the intruder until dad can back them up😅 Fingers crossed you won't have to drain anything

The Mercator projection is messing with Europeans too. Conventional wisdom says that the border Finland shares with Russia is long. It also says that Moldova is a small country. Well, the border Moldova shares with Ukraine is actually almost as long as Finland's border with Russia: 1,222 km.

Nice of putin to make it clear that Ukraine can target whatever it would like. Was already abundantly clear that russia has never had any inhibitions about what it targets, but I didn't expect them to emphasise that they're alright with Ukraine doing the same

If the Baltic states, the UK and France are not invited to discuss the state of NATO with the USA, then the other European NATO states should refuse to attend as well. European security needs to be seen as a whole, only Putin (and Trump) wants to divide it up. www.politico.com/news/2026/09...

Kinda has already. While I went from pellets to heat pump, I had been wanting to switch for a while. The pellets price sky rocketing in 2023 made it an easy choice. While I was at it I asked for an offer on a battery and panels just for fun and here I am, happy as a clam 🙂
