Get a poboy from Parkway. Eat as many beignets as you can. I know everyone has their favorites, but I like the basic ones from Cafe du Monde. For fancy ones, I hear Lorettas is great, but can't personally vouch. Jam Nola is a great time. Haven't been since they moved though. Have a great trip!

If you have time, I always recommend a swamp tour. Skip the river boats, those tours are almost always disappointing. City Park (Art museum, sculpture garden etc) always a good time and decent to do this time of year with it not being blazing hot. Ayo Bakehouse on Frenchmen is fantastic for a nosh.

ROBIN. I miss you on the book of Faces and I don't hang out here much. But here's what I got: The WW2 Museum is amazing. Katie's is excellent, Turkey and the Wolf is great for casual sandwiches. Do the quarter and Frenchmen, but take time for a stroll down Magazine. Ms. Shirley's, YUM.

I’m also curious about when exactly Cheeto dipped. The word on the street was it was either during or right after half-time. He was definitely in the air by the time the game ended and it’s about a 15-20 minute trip to JRB NOLA in Belle Chasse.

Over the last few years it has become abundantly clear that most people either don't read (or comprehend), have a poor understanding of math and statistics or both. Parent apps for my kid's school activities are mindblowing. The number of people that don't read or comprehend posts is staggering.

He entered Bourbon via the SIDEWALK driving around a police unit parked in the street. Even if the bollards were up, he still would have accessed via the sidewalk on the corner or Bourbon and Canal. And even if he couldn’t access Bourbon, he would have ridden the sidewalk on Canal or mowed over…

It’s been a rough couple of weeks. A waterline cracked in our slab, requiring a re-route through the attic. When the plumber was doing that, he noted that the roof was leaking. Took a bit to get that repaired. Flash did not like the hammering, but it’s over now. #catsofbluesky #cats

I had this grand idea to put up an outdoor antenna to get better reception on network TV using an existing coaxial cable system from an old cable install. Idea was great until I realized that I need to ground the antenna and the idea of ramming 8 feet of copper into the ground sounds like hell. Bah.
