fur affinity has been running for 21 years, is one of the largest archives of queer art online, and one of the few art sites that has not switched to some kind of infinite feed bullshit and it's being strangled over "adult" art. suspiciously wealthy furries now is your time to paypig for culture

What makes this situation frustrating is that the bar for what advertisers consider “adult content” is very very low. For example they consider plus size characters, two characters hugging, and “barbie doll nudity” to be adult content, despite these being normal everyday things that are not adult at all. This is why you may see other sites with restrictions on how characters can’t be posed or dressed “too provocatively.”

We receive a daily list of items that they have flagged as violations and have to sort through them. If they’re legitimate violations, we re-rate them. If they aren’t, we don’t touch them. Submissions that are not violations of our policies are still held against us.

We have had many email conversations, Zoom calls, and even an in-person meeting with representatives to help resolve this to no avail.

The bill has been opened to feedback. Rather than dooming about the proposal, you can tell them exactly how you feel about the act here. ec.europa.eu/info/law/bet... With how much of an uphill battle Chat Control is having, you should never assume it's worthless to fight these draconian bills.

Tohz isn't in my comic yet but it's just fun to think about what could happen if she was. (This drawing is for #tober2026) #kobolds #furryart #dnd #dndart

Shiver, the blue kobold, is crying in the arms of Tohz, the red kobold. Shiver sobs "And then... *sniff* he... he called me adorable for not knowing what a dragon egg was!" *sob*
Tohz: "There, there." she said embracing him. In her thoughts "He's so cute when he's flustered"

To the left straight werewolves, which are all people with hair glued to their face in appearance.

To the right LGBT+ werewolves, which are all anthro wolves in appearance.

It's a mix of scouring the internet, looking at art sites like FA, e6 surprisingly good for specific gestures/poses (if you know the name of them), and sometimes I just snap a pic of myself for some posing

Fellow artists!! what are your go to means for doing gesture studies? Websites, books, or even just a photo gallery that works well. Im very keen on getting into the habit, I want to improve my character art and efficiency And with said tools, how do you tend to approach it? How long do you draw?
