It's hard isn't it? They feel so plausible. They'll fix EVERYTHING. At least I'm not setting fire (metaphorically) to everything. That was some excellent CBT which stopped that one.

Instead of the standard sweepstake, Labs at work have a system where this week's loser has to bake something & bring it in, then people contribute to a charity pot for portions. At the end, the winner decides which charity the pot goes to. Isn't that brilliant? #gbbo

I've started realising that foot & leg cramps & restless legs & arms at night are directly related to how little I've drunk. I also don't feel thirsty - have to make myself drink.

All of this. Apparently half 'our' problem is being brought up to wee whenever we have the opportunity - our bladders aren't trained to hold. And then there's all the conflicting advice of holding adds strain. We are DOOMED.

I wish I’d known when the kids were babies that the absolute pure joy you get when you make your baby laugh never leaves you. I feel the same way when 14, 20 and 22 yo laugh. When they absolutely lose it and can’t stop. It’s the same purity, the same love. It stays.

Aaargh!! My youngest's is now my home office and sewing room. He's allowed to move back, but into eldest's room. Eldest is on his own now ;)

Now I'm going to organise the eldest's old bedroom into a spare room/youngest's home base. He wanted the bed in a weird position & it really doesn't work, he hardly ever stays here and it's time. 6 years after he left home... So many frogs.

This is so important. We are degrading immigrants and watering down the argument if we continue with the stereotype of immigrants providing only low-paid &/or manual labour. Immigration enriches us.
