Gotta love it when a website that you need to use turns out ONLY to work in Microsoft Edge and not in Chrome. Anyone know what the current waiting time is for screaming into the void?

#TheLongTrek We'll Always Have Paris Watched two days ago, and the details are already hazy. The repeated two seconds at the start... how do people spot there was a repeat if the two seconds repeated exactly? At some point in the past Google maps went into insane levels of detail which were then

Weird question I know... but just when did starting a new job get called "onboarding"?

#TheLongTrek Skin of Evil TNG is an ensemble show. But it's really clear that the ensemble is too large. They've done their best to find episodes to highlight individual characters but, to this point, the most interesting thing Tasha Yar has done is banged an android in a deliberately out of

Today's biggest unknown.... given it's a @threedowho.bsky.social recording day, how much will I be able to bite my tongue over my thoughts on "that" RTD extract?

James H-B @fitgeekuk.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

#TheLongTrek Symbiosis This should have been a really shocking episode, what with the twist about the "plague", but it's very VERY flat. Intensity wise it's the equivalent of a monotonous voice. They should have made a lot more of the glowy-touch-of-pain thing, rather than it feeling like you're

Top left, is that the "stock" BBC chair that got used in #DoctorWho by the White Guardian (amongst dozens of other appearances)?

To remind you that some "things" (aka places) never change... here's a 1981 performance of a song from the 60s which feels as though you could swap out RR for DT with zero change to the sentiment.

Very random I know, and I might have asked this before... but does anyone remember a late night Channel 4 show called "Passengers" that was essentially just random interviews and clips and features? Or have I imagined it?

#TheLongTrek The Arsenal of Freedom So it's a remake of the TOS episode (that was so memorable that I can't actually remember its name, only that it exists) with some H2G2 thrown in, and Beverley gets into awkward conversations with Picard. Probably the most wallpaper episode so far. Very dull.

Does anyone have an "official" reason why things like Star Trek don't have the episode titles shown on screen at the start any more?

Anyone got any good recommendations for purchasing #cycling lycra online? Preferably, given my body dimensions, somewhere that has an easy returns policy if it doesn't fit.

Today, whilst going through some old TV recordings found on line, I stumbled across what I think can only be described as "an advert for a must see film" with the continuity announcer's perfect BBC delivery just adding to my desire to see this. #YoullHaveHadYourTea

Oh bloody hell, it's DC crossover event in my viewing and this one is NOT viewer friendly if you don't follow all five series

Ever seen something and thought it should be a GIF but you have NO idea what circumstances would actually call for it being used.... so I've left it as a video clip for now.

the final one in the list is exceptionally true. I've just had my entire plans for the next week utterly upended even though I've spent the last two and a bit weeks mentally getting myself ready and prepared for them.

#TheLongTrek Heart of Glory I guess, as it's season 1, they hadn't actually worked out a lot of the "new Klingon Lore" which is why so much of this doesn't really tie in with everything that follows. We also learn that there's no such thing as safety glass in TNG. So I think it's time to point out

#TheLongTrek Coming of Age Okay, it's one of those episodes where viewing it knowing what's ahead gives it a very different meaning to watching it for the first time. The Picard story is a really good one for character work and seeing how the crew feel about The Enterprise AND the Wesley one

Just maybe not the Shakedown you were expecting #DoctorWho

Oh superb.... I just found my CD from "I Need a Doctor - The Whosical" and having superb flashbacks to seeing it live!

So far in today's #cycling, nothing like last week's nightmare and just one absolute moron cyclist to cope with.

Watching my way through Hot in Cleveland and REALLY wishing that I could see the fake soap opera "Edge of Tomorrow" because with every new revelation about it, it sounds more and more like #DarkShadows!

#WvA 100 Wizards Part 1 New series, new wizard on the block and one hell of a trap to start things off. So strange seeing the story deal with viral videos feels as though they're really ahead of the curve, there's continuity in terms of tech from last series and a damn good cliffhanger! Woohooo.

000

#TheLongTrek Home Soil Oh dear... this is an awkward one. If TNG had been some sort of "reboot" rather than a continuation of the TOSiverse, then it would be okay as, for this episode to make sense, at least one episode of TOS needs not to have happened (maybe SNW managed to wipe it from existence)

Suddenly and randomly thinking back to the Kenny Everett sketch.... did getting bitten by the spider mean that Peter Parker never needed to piss??? Or is there a concealed zip in his Spiderman suit that's missing from the cheap ones on Amazon? :D

#TheLongTrek When the Bough Breaks Dodgy science when it comes to how the planet is shielded, dodgy logic when it comes to how they can know so much that the Federation doesn't (even though they've been in hiding for ages) and what, does adoption not exist any more? It's another good one for Wes

#StrangeNewWorlds Two finger salute to RTD, a beautiful story, and a blissful conclusion to a glorious season of telling stories. Well done. And spot the <redacteds> which brought a HUGE smile to my face. Standing ovation for the season .

#TheLongTrek Too Short a Season Federation bigwig takes control of the Enterprise to go on a mission that reveals that he lied about the thing he's famous for. Again. Terrible "aged" makeup at the start really gives things away far too far ahead of schedule and decades on from TOS and the makeup

Looking through The Two Ronnies' musical numbers... I suppose we should be grateful that out of the nearly 100 they did, only a dozen or so are definitely, um, not really repeatable any more (but rather depressing that, when they did 21 Years of The Two Ronnies... they chose one of the dozen!)

#TheLongTrek 11001001 Since when did the Enterprise have 20 transporter rooms.... and do we see the same one each time in all other episodes or do we cycle through the 20 in a rota? And is there a "1st class" one or are they all the same? And just how quickly can they evacuate 1000 people? The
