This might be a hot take, but if you don't want games to be overtaken by AI slop, you have to choose not to play games that spotlight it. Companies don't care that you wag your finger, they care that you withhold your money and attention.

Sorry for the lack of new episodes. For a variety of reasons, we're going on hiatus for the winter. Looking to recharge, recalibrate, and return in the spring.

This is unexpected, but cool. Would be interested to see Atari continue down this path of salvaging obscure games and giving them new life.

Do I happen to know anybody who has experience in video editing, loves video games and gaming history, and would be interested in launching a YouTube channel with me? If you aren't that person, but know someone who might be, please pass it along. DM's are open to discuss.

The PS2 is 25 in America today. I have a weird relationship with it. It came out a year before I moved across the country. During its lifespan, I got married, went to school, and had twins. I didn’t play much on it, so I don’t have a lot of connection to it.

Buying ActiBlizz might end up being the worst move X-Box ever made, for them and the industry.

The genericized use of "AI" as a marketing buzzword for generative AI is doing so much discourse damage especially among a certain generations of the least tech savvy people to ever be exposed to technology regularly. That's the power of words on an illiterate society, baybee

Two price hikes on the console in a year, and now increasing the cost of Game Pass. Are they TRYING to kill the brand?

One of the worst companies in gaming forms a Voltron of crap by selling to Jared Kushner's private equity group and the Saudi investment fund. This is only going to get more terrible for the industry.

I saw all our videos bomb and could not find out why despite a LOT of searching and contemplation. Turns out, YouTube threw a killswitch on ALL OF YOUTUBE called Restricted Mode, and it keeps you from seeing the VAST MAJORITY OF VIDEOS ON YOUTUBE. Check your YT account & turn off Restricted Mode!!

Dude hasn’t lived up to his legacy in decades, has expressed some looking-down-the-nose views on gaming, and is overall too old and set in his ways. This needs fresh eyes and a fresh mind.

With Silksong now confirmed coming out (and in 2 weeks), what takes its place as the game that refuses to come out? Elder Scrolls 6? Beyond Good & Evil 2? A full release for Star Citizen? Okay, maybe not that last one.
