This race featured some of the most despicable rhetoric I've ever heard in a campaign. There should be an understanding amongst the media to never again place a microphone in front of Cuomo. I grew up in the same neighborhood as them. Mario and his wife Matilda were generally thought of as very decent people. How they produced garbage like Andrew and Chris I'll never understand. Didn't think the level of 'vile' coming out of Cuomo during this campaign was even possible.

I've never heard this before. It's actually the most interesting and moving version I've ever come across. The changes from the standard version we always hear are ingenious. Considering I'm feeling anything but patriotic lately (to say the least..) I rather enjoyed it. Thank you for posting.

I don't get why some are celebrating Jeffries over his hours-long speech. The time for high voltage oratory was months ago, yet day in and day out Schumer & Jeffries remained mostly silent. Doing it now when passage of the bill was a fait accompli was little more than theatre that changes nothing.

I don't feel able to make assessments of who's more, and who is less, 'regular' or 'normal'. What I'm confident of is any other major office candidate I've seen would have had security staff escorting her away in seconds. I give big credit to Zohran for taking it in stride, allowing her to speak.
