Finished the mini-series Sai and I really recommend it. An ice-cold slow-burn serial killer thriller about how sometimes, bad luck just falls out of the sky and lands on your head, in this case personified by a deeply unsettling man played by Teruyuki Kagawa. Kiyoshi Kurosawa comparisons are apt.

I forgot to post this last night, but for Midnight Movie Madness, I watched SUZZANNA - THE QUEEN OF BLACK MAGIC by David Gregory. I know very little of Indonesian cinema (apart from recent films), but this opened my eyes to it as well as a fascinating portrait of a force-of-nature woman.
