Oooh, Contract Rush DX is doing its re-launch tomorrow. Very good Mega Man-ish platform shooter from a crew of Newgrounds regular. Near-perfect user reviews. Tomorrow's version adds an expanded NG+ loop and some extra bits. And is now published by 2 Left Thumbs (Dead Estate, Picayune Dreams etc)

runner up for the PGFTETIYB award meanwhile is another type of edgy teenager: the ones who spent too much time on newgrounds! CONTRACT RUSH DX feels like the best version of a big expansion to a flash game. tons of animation, tons of content, tons of newgrounds style, for better and worse. Awesome

A recent release with its first decent discount, Contract Rush DX looks and sounds like a Newgrounds game. And it is! It's also a surprisingly in-depth Mega Man-adjacent platformer where every level has a unique gimmick and feel, multiple sidequests, unlockable characters, multiple endings, etc.

You can tackle each of the main missions in any order. Most of those levels are pretty big and complex, and each level has a bunch of short side-missions attached to play after, some of which require certain characters unlocked, and there's hidden objectives to get the True Ending and it's a LOT.
