I have texted my sister (who just got out of the ER and is laid out with the flu along with 2/3rds of the nieces) and to avoid eviction for her and the nieces, she needs $2500 no later than Sunday I have bullied my sister into letting me post on her behalf and her Paypal email is elf33065@gmail.com

I know money is super tight but my sister says she's gotten like 3-4 people/$80 donated which is a good start. Hopefully they can get the rest bcuz my sister sounds so sick and drained on the phone 😔 (and of course, the boyfriend who got her sick like he always does, is actively refusing to help)

my #23point5 wip is finally finished! I'LL ORBIT IN YOUR ATMOSPHERE 🌌 #ongsasun, 11.6k words total 🌏 ongsa confesses to being earth earlier ☀️ sun is confused about her feelings ☄️ also feat. a meteor shower, alpha being a good sister, & background aylinluna archiveofourown.org/works/55132201

Header of a fic on Archive Of Our Own called "i'll orbit in your atmosphere", by fiercynn.

Summary:

“What if Earth...doesn’t show up?” Ongsa asks.

Sun looks thoughtful, and a little resigned. “I would be sad, I guess.” Then she brightens. “But I think he’s coming. He told me he would.”

Even now, Sun has so much trust in Earth. And Ongsa’s about to shatter that trust. But she can’t take the hopeful look in Sun’s eyes any longer.

“What if Earth…is already here?” she says.

The policy of degendering us is explicitly a form of epistemic violence. Its purpose is denying that any harm we face is worth preventing. We are defined out of being considered subjects that meaningfully face misogyny or sexual violence, and in fact reconstructed as perpetrators. Legal DARVO.

alright you wanna know how to support trans people? hire them. It's REALLY hard already for visibly trans people to get jobs, even before this shit. Support places that have trans people working front of house, and make sure owners know that's part of why you're there.

If you're genuinely surprised and confused that third-world countries have better legal protections (and living conditions overall) for queer people than the US... stop. Stop that. You're being weird and racist. Stop snorting the american lie and use your brain for one second.

i can't believe it. third world countries have transgenders now, a western concept that only very smart white people could have come up with. a woman who is like if a woman was a woman. and a man who names himself after forest animals. only white people could have made those concepts.

While I'm here, can y'all just stop using the word "hijra" altogether? It's a slur. It's always been a fucking slur. It's levied at men with the intent to humiliate them, and levied at transfeminized women with the intent of degendering and third-sexing them. "Transfeminized women" is fine.

Transmisogyny's cultural function is to construct trans women as a class of un-person against whom no degree of sexual violence, brutality, and social humiliation is unacceptable.

And yet there is no epidemic of sexual assault of men by trans women, as much as men speak as if there is one amongst themselves. Sexual assault of trans women by cis men, on the other hand, is not just common but an established institution.

In my experience, it’s also extremely common for cis men to feel this way. That sexual attention from a trans woman—no matter how much he’s shown her first, no matter how much he’s pressured it from her—is like a dangerously invasive serpent that he craves but has to vigilantly control.

“Sex act on boy” says a lot. A facet of transmisogyny that sometimes fades into the discursive background is its framing of trans female desire as preying on MEN, not just women. Cis men are frequently portrayed as violated by the sexual contact with trans girls they themselves consume.
