I stopped for corn. Found a pumpkin patch. A small boy told me he’s going to find his perfect pumpkin somewhere out there. Autumn.

Early morning sounds can seem imaginary. And I was thinking of that soggy hike in Ireland. It was near home though and the purple bell was around the neck of a friendly brown dog.
