Been testing iPhone Duo simulator and added response to fold/unfold/rotation events for various layouts. Instead of scaling the game, I increased the view when unfolded which works out like an iPad version. I like it. Will have to be one of those "I only tested on the simulator though" updates.

Thank you Power Pak, for making a 2h long video, about a 30 minute horror game that you played for 40h. I bought it after this =)

I wonder if this picture confuses younger generations now? a brand no one knows a cd-rom drive "no one" uses anymore the headphone jack Apple hates a sticker warning that makes no sense (you had to be there) a physical volume slider! a floppy disk drive (the save icon!)

a picture of a Packard Bell computer showing a CD-ROM drive, with a "Remember turn off your computer before 12/31/99" warning sticker.

I started my year by finishing TLoZ: Echoes of Wisdom. It is a lovely take and a fascinating idea to bring the titular character from the series to star in her own game, despite some shortcomings. Here are my thoughts on it, and why I give it a 7/10 🧵

“Stalker 2 is the most broken game since Cyberpunk 2077.

In fact, it's worse and playing it at launch feels like role-playing as a QA Tester.

I cannot recommend this game right now.”

maybe take the same energy you have about this site being a fresh start and apply it to the game awards you dont have to watch it! you dont even need to think about it! play a game, go outside, see friends, take your dog for a walk, do literally anything else with your time and bandwidth!

Given recent expansions around here, it’s a good time to remind folks that a phenomenal writer (me) is available for more videogame work. Coming off Vampire Survivors & Date Everything & [REDACTED], I’m very excited about doing more. Oh, and my rates are reasonable, especially if I like you 😘!

After 2 months (and 90h of total play) I finished Tears of the Kingdom. The game is a step above in almost everything BoTW did and so much more. Loved almost every second of it (did not complete it to 100%), but I never felt bored throughout the whole experience. 10/10 and so far, my GOTY.
