KOC must be heartbroken to see that the future he had envisioned and planned with JJM is now over.

WORKLOAD UPDATE: #49ers RB Christian McCaffrey played through cramps in Thursday's win vs. the Rams, per Kyle Shanahan. Between cramps and travel, Shanahan noted backup Kaelon Black's heavy usage is not necessarily indicative of future weeks. 🏃‍♂️💨

This might be the first set of rankings I look at and don't have any strong disagreements with. A strong mix of trusting your scouting with a dab of re-ranking based on preseason updates.

The Philosopher @ffphilosopher.fantasynowplus.com · 05/09/2026

We've seen the preseason depth charts mostly shake out. What rookies do you still believe in despite the lack of camp buzz/being buried on the depth chart?

I'm confused. Diego Pavia & Eli Stowers succeeded against an SEC schedule. Pavia went undrafted... so Stowers is judged to have been the reason for the success DESPITE not having NFL caliber QB play. Kenyon Sadiq topped out at 560 yards... with Dante Moore, who was a projected 1st Round talent.

Hypothetical situation for you... You're on the clock in your draft with time ticking down. Your brow furrowed as beads of sweat appear from the stress of being double sniped. Cortizone levels shoot higher than the adrenaline from watching your 1st Rd pick score an 80yd TD. Waddle you do?

From December to April only two rookie picks have gained any startup value: the 1.01 climbed 4.12 spots and the 1.02 climbed 0.31 spots in ADP. EVERY other rookie pick lost value in startup ADP

Alex's mom on his 38th birthday.

Today should be your 38th birthday..
When you lose your son you lose more than a child you lose a piece of your heart and your joy. Life is forever altered, and nothing can ever fill that space. Yet in my soul, he remains, my precious boy, forever loved. His laughter, his smile, and his love are woven into who I am. My love for him will never fade. Yor are my pride and my joy - you've made a change that cannot be broken..

Honestly? Maybe this makes me a jerk and I'm sure I'm projecting but... this felt like one of the least consequential Combines in recent memory for me. Stowers is going to go earlier in rookie drafts than I'd hoped due to Combine buzz, and that's about it.

Drew Allar might be the QB I am most interested in for this year's draft. He's one of 21 QBs in my 186 QB database (2015-2026 draft classes) to hit my breakout threshold (PFF off. grade ≥ 85.0 in year 1, 2, or 3 of CFB) and to have a career P2S ≤ 20%. Some misses in there, but also a Purdy gem.
