Always a bit weird when you see someone you previously worked with and who, at the time, seemed "normal" start posting unhinged/hustle-culture style messages to #LinkedIn. It's like, "dude: I used to respect you".

When I see lifted trucks like this — and this one's worse from street level than from my porch (where I took the picture from) — I always think, "my condolences to your wife". And,judging by the sound, he's hit a modified exhaust and is warming up to leave.

Huh... Can use #Gemini for EV charging/route planning ...and that it accurately factors in range drops related to weather and external accessories (matches what I observed on our 2025 Thanksgiving and Christmas trips versus summer temps and no external accessories) is pretty nice, too. #ai

The strip steaks were no less laughable. It's like, "guys: if the only way to make your steaks affordable is to turn them into deli slices, maybe stop putting pre-cut 'steaks' in the cold cases".

At Saturday's #Diplo show, someone dropped their vape and weren't nearby when wife found it and held it aloft. Sadly, it's also _just_ a nicotine vape and in a cloying scent.

I e been getting the store brand of American cheese, for years, at Wegmans. Last two packs I bought, it felt like the slices had reduced in area. So, today, I compared a pack to the Land O Lakes brand and damned if the store brand hadn't fallen victim to #shrinkflation.

We've got tickets to the _I Hate Models_ /_Bennett_ show. I was also amused to notice that the same night, _Dennett_ is playing at another venue just a couple miles away. I mean, other than their names and being EDM artists, they share little in common, stylistically.

I periodically check with my registrar, but, yeah, this tool works, too. Hopefully, it's not a data-harvester set up (or taken over) by the #Trump administration to help them ID voters to target (since they can't seem to get that information via the courts or other administrative avenues).
