Dragon Age gave me an hyperfixation and then promptly took it away and I resent that, is what I'm saying. lmao

Fereldan Spoopy Birb @fereldanstew.bsky.social · 5h

No no, I'm always down to hearing it. And yes a lot of important characters are technically city elves and *technically* you can be a city elf jn Veilguard but alienages have long since stopped being portrayed as communities all of their own with their own distinct culture and it... it gets to me. 😅

wish, not for the last time, that the games hadn't stopped giving a shit about it entirely after origins.

the places Alyss would have climbed as a kid and the pranks she might have pulled on her cousins and how many of Valendrian's grey hairs she might have been responsible for. It just feels so sentimental to me. It also reignites all my brain worms about the unexplored nuance of alienage culture. I👇

I love replaying the Tabris origin so much. It's horrible and makes my chest ache and I cry like a baby every fucking time, but I also just like strolling about the alienage in the one instance in this game where we get to see it not littered with corpses and blight. And I like to think about all 👇

Time to be cozy with a spooky old movie. 📺🍂 #art #illustration

Digital illustration of my characters Lemon (a black bird) and Lime (a black cat). They're bundled up in blankets (Lemon's being yellow, and Lime's green) and sitting on a sofa, watching something on an old TV with an antenna. A ghost and vampire stuffed toy are propped on the back of the sofa, in front of a window where yellow autumn leaves are drifting by. Orange curtains hang on either side, and a string of bats and orange lights hang across the window.

Look the way Duncan talks about Adaia he 100% wanted to hit that. No one says "she was a fiery woman" like that merely out of professional interest okay. This is canon I will not be convinced otherwise.

Nowhere is really off limits besides her ears (they are sensitive and she's sensitive about them, especially after the archdemon injuries). A few favored spots are: neck, shoulders, chest, inner thighs. Does she ever do the biting? Sometimes if she's being very very impatient.

Fereldan Spoopy Birb @fereldanstew.bsky.social · 13h

#nsfw So if you do the threesome with Isabela there is a joke you can make about Leliana biting so I have canonized it in my head that she does get bitey sometimes. Though that's not something Alyss would actually joke about in front of somebody else like that. Does she enjoy it? Yeah. Where? 👇

I think writing Leliana experiencing the mindfuck of someone actually caring about her as much as she cares about them is my ultimate catnip.

Me writing Alyss: "I love her so much, she is so baby, goodest of beans, she deserves the world." Also me writing Alyss: "Jfc I wanna throw this raccoon off a fucking cliff." These are not mutually exclusive and do in fact often occur simultaneously.

Convincing you to buy my books with a randomly-selected meme and snippet, round three: bloodyspade.carrd.co | #Art #BookSky #WritingCommunity

A meme with text reading "do you think cat boys elongate when you pick them up like" followed by an image of a person (me) picking up a cat boy (Iori from Bloody Spade), whose body stretches long when picked up and he looks very displeased about being picked up

A snippet from BLEEDING HEART, which reads:
Hikaru resituated himself. “I know. And I hate that I’ve put this on you, but I—” Another stabbing throb behind his eyes, and he bowed his head into his hand, justifications dammed by gritted teeth. Only the same old excuses.
It’s terrible, but I must.
It’s troublesome, but I must.
It’s tiring, but I must.
I must.
I must.
For how much longer?

Cage is reaching an age (he's 62) where it's very difficult for a movie star to continue having the same kind of star career Cage has enjoyed for 40 years and a huge part of how he's stayed relevant is exactly this "I want to get with someone doing something cool" attitude

A small snip of the letter Alyss writes to Leliana on the eve of battle. Kinda messed up that it's the first letter she ever writes her and she thinks it'll be the last. 🥲

You’ll wake and I will smile as though we can get through this. I’ll promise to meet you on the other side. To fulfill all the plans we made. Because I want, more than I have ever wanted for anything, for us to have an after. We deserve to have an after. So I’ll lie to us both. I know that succeeding means I’ll be leaving you. And knowing is unbearable.

I hope you can forgive me this deception; the betrayal of having lied when I promised I never would. I won’t blame you if you don’t. All I wish for is that you understand. I lied because I needed to. If I fail there will be no after. Not for Ferelden and its people. Not for you.
