The reason for the season.

Ingredients for cranberry sauce on a kitchen island: cranberries, sugar, golden raisins, oj, apples, oranges, pears, cinnamon, nutmeg, and Grand Marnier. Framed handwritten recipe stands next to food.

Within hours of becoming the parents of boy/girl twins my husband insisted that they be Dipper & Mabel for Halloween.

I was up in the middle of the night with my infant twins when he got Covid and I will, no joke, be chasing that high my entire life. I chose not to wake up my husband with the news but left him a sticky note for the next feeding instead.
