Ah, Slaanesh, the patron god of artists and perfectionists everywhere. Easy to debase yourself before them if you want to gain access to the secrets of excellent model painting. Someone else said that another key to good miniature painting is a quick wash followed by careful edging.

Just finished the audiobook of Wild Faith, by @swordsjew.bsky.social. It's simultaneously informative, heartfelt, funny, gentle, and enraging. It supports a lot of the informal research I'd been doing into the white Evangelical subculture since 2007 or so as well as that of authoritarianism.
