Good to see Alberta gov get into the oil biz. In honour of fed participation, Smith could call the new company CanPetro or some version of that. (PET rolls over).

Impossible to know but interesting to try to guess what things will be like in 20 years (like web 1995). The potential scale of generated content. I tend to think llms will choke on their own content? But others and capx seem to have other options (and I definitely know nothing.)

Quite curious how Mandani handled the morass. The structure of local government here (all cities in Ont) seems so ill suited.

Not sure why this is so hard, in an editorial that calls for more education, to point out that various types of lithium batteries have markedly different fire risk. Can we start citing the battery chemistry pls. (I realize most bikes and scooters use NMC and LCO which are the types most prone)..

If AI is like the next industrial revolution, not only should we have a Minister for AI, we should have a Minister against.

It's as if, seen in isolation, Mr. Mcgoo had a plan to wrest away power from the middle east. But there is no plan.

If AI is as big a deal as some say, on par w the individual revolution or such, then it's too big a portfolio for one minister for AI. There should be another minister against AI to deal w safety, regulation etc.

It's not just a waste of $50 milion, but of the $27 to build the lanes and the next tens of millions to redo the bike lanes under the next premier. More like a waste of $100 million.
