@wardqnormal.bsky.social Here I was hanging and talking with Steve three summers ago. What a delightful time. I have been going through as many of his written pieces and especially Hunter interview transcriptions. Please reach out if you might be willing to share more from his files? Love and thks.

Vintage Dead was sort of grey market, GD had nothing to do with the release.

Dear God. My CC and II did a winter solstice camping trip to Dinosaur and she knows the wider country well from river running and whatnot. This is a crime against the universe. Feds to open tens of thousands of acres of Colorado wilderness to oil drilling coloradonewsline.com/2026/06/12/f...

@wardqnormal.bsky.social I thought you might get a kick that one of the AI transcription programs was trying to parse a podcast, and when the recording played "Attics Of My Life", it assigned the words to Steve's voice.

"Garcia Hates Fame" Melody Maker 49 (September 14, 1974). David Bowie and John Lennon photo. Cover package: Jethro Tull, Ravi Shankar, and Disco music. For me, the kicker "Dead" and sell line "Garcia Hates Fame" would have had me coughing up 12p right quickly. www.reddit.com/r/Fate_Music...

someone posted this article page by David Fricke from Circus magazine in 1980 about the Grateful Dead, but not the rest of the pages. Does anybody have a copy of this magazine and/or a scan? Plenty to trade. Thanks! #gratefuldead

Four-time Grammy Award nominee Jesse Welles performs his song "Join Ice." Bob Dylan once said a single folk singer could defeat an entire army. Ladies and gentlemen, I think we have our man.

#Deadheads At the end of JGB 11/20/76b, Jerry urges his paying customers to support a cause, in this case an upcoming gig in support of a benefit for the local Chumash community. jgmf.blogspot.com/2015/01/jerr... Question: is there any other known instance of JG pitching a cause to paying fans?

I'm going to write on this, but the subtext is that the Nate Silver crowd have shifted hard away from political science, and hard towards the Silicon Valley mindset as a foundational source for purportedly better grounded knowledge. This by @beenwrekt.bsky.social and @leifw.bsky.social

It's amazing how a little fact can put things into place. It seemed like the Garcia parts from Texican Badman were misdated to 4/74. Then I thought it was a Jerry payday for Pete Rowan after going with Dawg Music. 1/
