The thing about DIGGER is that I simply did not find it funny. There are a thousand jokes and very few landed for me. I like almost everything about the movie on a conceptual level and very little in actuality.

Cruise is really quite good (or at least fascinating) and the movie gets some props for being a huge swing but it is painfully unfunny in its satire. It’s also extremely unrelenting in its politics (politics I agree with) and obnoxious about them. It’s all on purpose but man, it was not a fun hang.

I think I’m gonna start cold contacting the richest people in the world asking for like, 200k. I will be honest and tell them I don’t necessarily need it but I want it to pay off my house.
