Something to add: If you're opposed to Twitch's GenAI, please show you're also opposed to other GenAI Twitch tools such as FrostyTools and Tangia by not using them! FrostyTools scrapes the raider's profile and chat then uses GenAI to provide a (probably wrong) shoutout. Tangia steals actors' voices!

Just a little status update. Most of you already know that I have depression and the meds aren't working. We've tried a few options now but nothing is doing the trick. On top of that, my dad was recently admitted to the hospital. As much as I would like to say he should be fine, we don't know.

Know that libraries count things. How many people have cards, how many times a book or DVD or CD is checked out, etc. And then we take those numbers to our internal staff and say "look, people want this" to justify purchases, and then to local govts to say "look, we need to stay open".

Sharing this reminder that Librarian is a genAI game. I occasionally see a friend playing it and have to give them the heads up. This one is slipping under a lot of radars, and I think part of it is people are just trusting those they saw playing it to have checked.

There is a person reading the Dungeon Crawler Carl books who is literally a few days ahead of me. They return it and I just scoop it up. I finish it, return it, then 1-2 days later, they return the next one. We've been doing this for 5 books now.
